Red Rioja

It has been 4 years since we last stocked this amazing wine kit and our customers are very excited about Rioja’s return.

Made from the famous Spanish grape Tempranillo, this dry red is medium ruby red in colour. The aroma consists of raspberry, spice, cherry and vanilla oak. On the palate, the taste is dry, medium bodied and well structured with complex flavours of cherry, leather and vanilla with a soft, medium tannic finish. The wine is quite palatable soon after bottling and does not require extensive aging.

Spanish Rioja is available in Elite, Sommelier Reserve & Sommelier.

10 Day Ingredient Kit: Available in four styles, these fine kits are made from California’s finest varietal grape juice concentrate, the same concentrate used by many fine wineries throughout the year. Reds are available in Merlot and Shiraz and Whites in Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay. An Ice Style wine is also in the works.
